The commute to work today was pretty miserable. Hoboken/New York City got hit with some down pours and heavy heavy winds. After five years of NYC commuting, I know the one or two or even three vital things to have is a good umbrella. I have a bunch at my apartment, one at work, and one in the work bag. My favorite umbrella is made by Muji. The umbrella is a clean cut design that has a nice open loop feature on the bottom to add a personal touch. Besides the beauty of it's simplicity, the umbrella is made to last! As I was traveling down Hudson street I couldn't help but notice everyone else struggling for deal life with their poor excuses for cover being thrown in the wind. Huge recommend.
