The A.A. Sayia brand was established in 1917 and is still family owned. We decided that a rich brand identity needed to be established. Our main challenge was that the spice trade is extremely competitive. The company didn't want to reveal too much content to their competitors.
Our goal was to make Spice Trading elegant. The Art Direction focuses around the rich, deep colors of a spice market while capturing the antiquity of the brand. Now compare that to McCormick's store shelf.
